Forgot this site existed for a couple of years, finally back to post a report. Forgot to take pictures but I will make sure to next time. Today i decided to go out a little late, started at Beaver on my kayak around 6:40 PM with a green pumpkin senko texas rigged, nothing much. I wanted to go for bass this time since the trout were acting very weird at Beaver this year, couldn't get them to bite. Fishing for stocked trout is pretty uneventful any way so i decided to see if the Bass were biting. First hour, flipped some docks but no bites. Around 7:45, I finally got my first fish, around a 1.5 lb largie, fought really well. 20 minutes later I had gotten 2 other fish, one was a 2lb and the other was a little below 1 lb. I'm not a very experienced bass fisherman and i usually only target them near or around summer but I can tell the Bass are already pretty actice right now. Will be back to fish Beaver soon, maybe even tomorrow if i have time. Tight Lines!
