Went to the lake as usual on this Fourth of July weekend like always to try for some rainbows. Like to run over to this little lake when we camp at Manchester State Park for the 4Th. celebration. Manchester boat launch is a great place to see the fireworks from Seattle. Launched my pontoon boat at 1:00 p.m. on this overcast but very nice day. Caught twelve nice little bows tossed them all back. This is a time killing only day for me. You always get a pre-show of fireworks on the lake from all the kids on the docks having a great time. If only they would take that much interest in fishing. The lake always has been a good producer for me at this time of the year even with the water temp at 73 degrees. Two other boats were having only a little luck with the trout and no bass fisherman were there. Did get a visit from a Region 6 WDFW game warden. I wonder if the fish eat the fireworks debris left floating in the water.

HAVE A HAPPY FISHY DAY
