Finished working at 10am so went home and decided to do an afternoon fish with my brother Jordan. Ended up launching at Daisy and fishing by 2pm. Started out going for Walleye with bottom bouncers with double whammy baitfish. Couldn't hit anything. Ranged in depth from 25 to 60 FOW. After 2 hrs I decided to go after trout so I threw on a dodger using the same baitfish. Within 5 min I had a 22" 3lb rainbow in the boat. Told my brother to switch over to a similar setup if he wanted some action. By 6pm we had 5 rainbows on the stringer all over 17". Was a fine evening of fishing. I've been fishing walleye all summer long and boy those trout feel like a monster the way they fight compared to the walleye. Had an absolute blast!

Great fish! Thanks for the report. Roosevelt seems to be heating up for the big trout. One of the big reasons I look forward to Fall. That big fish is nice. Like you said, bet it was fun to reel in. Great job out there mixing it up and getting on fish.

Great tackle box, looks just like mine! Ha! Great looking fish, can hardly wait to get on the big R and have a similar catch!
