Went to Brewster on Saturday the 25 and fished for Sockeye. Caught only 1 fish. Went out on Sunday the 26th ( the last legal day to fish for sockeye) and caught 6 sockeye but only landed 3 fish. We tried the evening bite and didn't get a single thing. There were 3 guide boats out and about 15 other boats and not a single fish caught sunday afternoon-evening. The weather got cold as a storm moved through and winds were strong.

We tried for Kings on Monday morning and only caught a 25 lb wild, so we let it go. All in all the weekend fishing was poor and extremely slow. We didn't see many fish on the screen like we normally would. I think the cooler weather all week has sent the fish up river. We saw lots of dead kings and sockeye floating on the surface.

Some of the sockeye we caught had some funky sores on the skin, I heard they are from lampreys attacking the fish. Most of the fish we caught were caught at 19-21 feet of water trolling pink hootchies. The king was taken on a daves superbait with a green flasher and scent bomb in about 30' of water.
