Fished Chambers lake for the first time in a few years, it was pretty much the same as I remembered it. The wind was horrible and blew me all around the lake, but I was able to fish during the occassional calms. I fished just about everything in my tackle box without any success. Sizable fish were splashing fairly regularly but I'll be darned if I could hook one.

There are millions of minnows swimming around, I figured a rapala might work but no such luck. The bass are probably so full from chomping on minnows they aren't interested in anything I have to offer.

I also tried trolling with pop-gear and indiana spinners with a worm, but the weeds are all over the lake. Power bait might be a good option for the trout. I ran spoke with a gentleman in a canoe fly fishing who said he normally had pretty good luck there, I might consider going back on a calmer day.
