Launched at Keller and started fishing at Swawilla Basin. Had the lines in the water by 6:30. Water temp when we started was 57 with very little wind. Haven't been fishing for two weeks and the fish are not near as abundant as they were. Didn't mark a lot of fish but did catch some bows. The net pen released fish are down there all ready but didn't bother us to much. Fish were being caught but nothing like 2 weeks ago. Of course we were targeting the Kok's but had no luck. We were flipping the bows off and not keeping real close count but thinking back we released 4 or 5 nicer ones and 4 or 5 small net pens. We picked up and headed for the mouth of San Poil about 11:30. Same thing there and we did keep 4 nicer bows and headed home at 1:30. Top water orange jointed rapala had 1/2 the fish. I keep expecting for the Kok's to start schooling up and being down deeper but we didn't mark many fish deeper. Water temp when we quit was 63 and another thing that I noticed was the thermo-cline wasn't very deep, about 10ft. It was in the 20 to 25' range before. It's like this every year when the water is on the way up and I think when it settles out the Kok's will be there.
