Launch at Porcupine bay around 7:00am and headed up river to Blue creek. Fished from there up and bolth sides of the river. The only pratteren I could find that worked is there was no one patteren that worked. The fish were in 18' to 55' they hit blue for a while then yellow then purple. If they quit one we'd change up until they quit that one. I did good on a purple Apex for a while, untill I lost it. That was a $5 bill down the drain so I went back to spinners. We did manage to get 16 keepers and let some smaller ones go. No big fish but nice eating size. Bottom bouncers about .08 to 1 mph.

Way to go now I have to put a purple apex in my walleye box. Great report I think nice eating size is the best.

Rocky, if you use a apex take the hook off that comes with it and string it with a double hook worm harness. I use a #1 apex.
