This lake is alright when the docks are not full. Parking still is kinda a problem over by the construction area but for the most part you can catch a couple trout here and there. Me and my brother in law went out fished some green power bait off the bottom we both caught 1 8 incher each. The fishing there is way too crowded on most days, and I'll be the first to admit "Take your kids fishing" but man keep them away from pestering other anglers. It's one thing to take your kids fishing, but totaly forgetting about them once you get to the water tends to make for another guys time out miserable (not all kids). For the most part i like silver lake and when im lucky enough to get a parking spot over by the deadly turn out over by Romio's pizza joint, I'll finnaly find out what's to fish for over in those spots. Hopfully some sunnies! I didnt buy a new deepfryer for nothing. "Catch and Release if ya'don't plan'ta Feast"!
