Wow!!! Thought the fishing would improve after the last time we were there two weeks ago. Put in at porcupine headed up river past buoy 5. Was trolling leaded and surface line until about 10:00, then moved down river all the way to McCoys trying different spots. We tried everything we could think of (bright colors, dark colors) along with going from 7 colors on leaded line to the top surface lines. Sorry Buc, even tried your Kokanne killer set up and had no luck. We spent from daylight to dark on the water and did not get one bite!! Yes, we even tried different speeds, different water depths, going across the lake, up and down the shorelines, down river, up river and nothing. When they say the fish got flushed, they sure mean it this year.. Worst fishing in 18 years for me.
