Four fisherman, five poles & hungry fish! We started our day in Eden Harbor hiding from the wind. Missed the first fish within the first five minutes of arrival. 2-1/2 Hrs. later and only three fish, my boys were ready to brave the wind exposure of Spring Canyon. It was brutal but worth it. We ended the day with a five gallon bucket full of fish! It weighed almost 30LBS. 17 fish(three short of a limit), 14"-20". We roasted hot dogs & bonded on a cold winter day.
We ran out of rainbow power bait and had to start making our own as that was the color of choice!

we're going to the opposite side of the lake on Sunday at Northport. I hope we don't regret it as Spring canyon was our second choice. were you just right on that beach just over the hill to the left of the campsight area? Nice report.

Hey kevinbe, we were up lake of the camp ground. It is a bit of a hike due to the steep river banks. But the end of the docks are still in sight.

Hey Jiggy & hewesfisher, I have to be really careful. Because in the past I've been overzealous and stayed out too long. But, this time the fish kept them interested. Also had a little pool going. A buck on the first fish.A buck on the first limit. A buck on the largest fish. And a buck to every tagged fish. My oldest being home from college,(broke student) grabbed my rod while I was still getting the fire going & claimed the first fish! My youngest was the winner in the largest category. And the middle boy first to limit. So that left me to catch up with the tagged fish. And surprisingly out of 17 fish, not a one was tagged! I ended up paying my debts in burgers at Big Wallys on the way home.
