Went down with my wife and my buddy and his son for a weekend of boat camping and Walleye fishing. We fished up by bouy 5. We fished 1/4 oz jigs tiped with worm in about 25 ft of water. We started catching fish right off the bat. After the morning fish on jigs slowed down we went to trolling spinners on bottom bouncers. We caught about 12 trout all in the 5-8lb range while we were trolling. We caught one that looked just like a steelhead bright red and 8lbs. We ended up catching and releasing over 100 Walleye over the weekend nothing big just alot of fish. Biggest fish was about 18" Good luck fishing everyone......The fall bite is on.....

100 Walleye over the weekend! Wouldn't that make it a 5 rating.

When we troll we usually troll worm harness spinners and bottom bouncers at about 20ft. Yes alot of the walleye were caught trolling and all the trout were.

Great Job Craig: What launch do I use to get there ? How fast should i troll for the trout ? Will my electric motor work ? or is the current to fast? Thank you very much for your help qball59.

We use the Porcupine Bay launch and we head twords Little Falls Dam up to bouy 5. We troll as slow as the 7hp kicker will go pushing our 17ft boat. I would imagine you could troll with the electric, theres not much current up there right now..

Thanks Craig for your help! Just got back from salmon fishing at the Reach had a great time. I would like to go up and fish the
Spokane arm, in the next couple weeks. Heading back down later this week to the reach. The salmon are still in great shape. Peak of the run will be this week. Hooking on super baits. ( White Bluff Area )Thanks qball59
