Went to this pond, it is actually created by a river on a rainy afternoon. Stood next to a guy that was just knocking the crappie dead. Averaged about 8-10 inches. They were not huge, but respectable. I couldn't get a bite. Difference was he had maggots and I didn't. They were not hitting anything else. Using a slip bobber at about 8-10 ft deep with some sinkers to allow the jig head to drop quickly. Jigs had a blue and white skirt tipped with the maggot. Really nice little pond with perch and bluegill caught as well. Definitely will go back in the next few days more prepared.

It is on the east side among the honkers and the webfeet. I will send pictures the next time I go. I talked to a local and he said he catches them all through the winter. There are two rivers within 1/4 mile of it.
