My wife and I fished Blue Lake for 6 hours on Monday and caught 9 fish. There were some rainbows and Kokanee. We had to work our rear end off for these fish. We threw everything in but the fishing box to get these fish. We used worms with all different kinds of spinners and colors. And we also used flies. The fish were from 9 inches to 14 inches, very nice fish. The 14 incher was a Kokanee. We tolled right down the middle of the lake from the south end to the middle and back. The fish were not taking the hook very hard as we lost some fish. The weather was pretty good, the wind was not to bad and it was in the 70s and was partly cloudy. We fished Blue because there is a public launch on the east side. We went to Park but there is no public launch. Why pay when you can launch for free. I will be back.
