Went fishing on a guided drift boat for steelies. Was a great day and the rain held off, despite being a bit chilly. Both me and my buddy got one - 14 and 11lbs. Shawn was a great guide and very accommodating. Fishing was tough, but he kept trying things until we got them!

Tried roe, jigs and plastic worms in varying set-ups. Bite seemed to turn on right when the sun came out mid-morning. Overall I was thrilled with the trip and hopefully will get back out with Shawn sometime soon!

@Makscoot - Yes we kept them. The Quinault has a very healthy run of them. Turns out the tribe has done a very good job of managing the fishery. You have to go with a native guide if you would like to fish though.
