Water was low but there were lots of fish moving up all day. Best spots were below the boat launch area on Hwy 4 to tide water. Wild coho were stacked up on Monday and hatchery kings moved in on Tuesday. There were a few dark fish but most of them were chromers that hadn't been in fresh water more than a day or two. We used mainly corkies and about 3 feet of leader. There is a minimum distance of lead to hook of 12 inches and barbless hooks.
Be sure to check the regs for bait/lure types because the game warden was hanging around every day I was there watching from the bushes and checking everything from the fish to your gear. If you have any questions about what you can use and/or keep he will clear things up and was a real nice guy with tons of information.
