We went out this morning to see if we could pick up some pinks on the Snohomish River. We fished for a little while at the Rotary park boat launch, but then lots of people started to put their boats in, so we drove up to Snohomish and fished there for a couple of hours. We saw several fish jumping, and lots of boats. There were only 2 or 3 landed in the 2 1/2 hours we were there. The only semi- exciting things that happened to me were that I saw a nice 4 or 5 pound chromer swim right by the rocks at my feet and that I had a fish on for about half a second. Anyone have any tips on where to go for coho this season? Tight lines!
