Giving this a 4 because we haven't had a change to get the boat wet all season. Home from camping early we shot for Conway to launch. Just after hight tide so I was hoping there was water to get the sled up to the forks. Each year there are some goffy sand bars to skip over. With the low water this year we couldn't get up with a for sure thing of getting back down after a few hrs of fishing.

What a bummer, not we'll have to go to plan B or C to fish our spots in the North Fork. We did some exploring and found our way to Skagit Bay. Was nice and peacefull. Seen some nice Cutties rolling, will have to back and try that or at least have gear for them on the boat.

Talked to a guy that came from up river as we loaded up, he said he had to drag his boat over that bar coming down. There were about 4 rigs parked and I"m sure they all had a long wait for water.

I don't get what you are rating, your ability to get your boat wet? Did you get any fish?

I fished up the way a bit at the public access on the South fork on Sunday with no luck at all. I guess I will give that a five star rating..jk. No seriously I hit Kayak pt, Skagit in two places, and West beach at Deception Pass and saw one fish caught. Maybe the afternoon high tide brought some fish in.

I forgot to say we did fish to the sound with no luck. There were some fish flipping around at the fork below the launch with the cutties. Salt Chuck today.
