Fished for a couple days with my buddies in my Clacka drift boat. We usually do really well on this river, but for whatever reason we had a tough go at things. Launched at 7400 both days amongst all the guides/clients, and quite a few other weekday warriors. It'll be slammed this coming weekend. Quite a few more boats out there then the average weekday trip. Anyway, hammered all the usual slots with eggs in the front and jigs in the back. Plugged through the froggy water and rowed a few laps in the well known spots. NOTHING!!! Pretty depressing really. I spoke to a local who scratched one up on the lower float. He thinks they may still be down in the lower river. I doubt we head back that way on Friday, most likely the Satsop or Sol Duc. Good luck if you all head out.
