First-time commenter here. Last Saturday, Sunday, and Monday I fished the beach under the 522 bridge. I used primarily Blue Fox Spinners and Dick Nite Spoons. Within seconds of arriving at the beach, my girlfriend and I could hear fish jumpin' and rollin' everywhere - but no bites. I thought that Monday would have brought some better luck considering the rain, but it was to no avail. Talked to others on the beach, and no fish caught.

A friend of ours was using spinners about a mile up the river and got 2 on both Monday and Tuesday. Don't know what the deal is. I'll keep posting.

I've fished the lower areas above Snohomish and down to Rotary. I don't see them on my fish finder- at least not in any numbers. They have to come through there to get to where you were fishing.

I'm to the point of thinking they are breezing up to Thomas Eddy and above without stopping around the Pilchuck. Who knows what is in a fish's mind, but I know there are no pinks to jam up the river.

As the numbers build they may get more active or they may not. It seems they are making it to Thomas Eddy in one run. My guess. I think they stick there for awhile and head up the Sky or Snoq.

I think this will be another learning experience.
