Hit Haller Park with my brother for the salmon opener in hopes for some early coho. We we tossing some dry flies a few days before catching and releasing a dozen or so small rainbows and saw some coho rolling, so we knew there was a handful in there. We started at 6:30 at the top of the run and worked all the way to the tailout then repeated again with no hookups besides 2 small rainbows. We saw some rollers, but they werent bitting. I was drifting a dick nite, and he was tossing spinners. After that we decided to try under the centenial trail bridge. There were fish rolling there also, but we only managed to c&r one small dolly. No early coho today. We'll probably hit it once a week for coho until more fish come in.
