Got to the river around noon with my good friend william AKA the salmonslayer14 and got a hit right away on a green and silver wing bobber and sand shrimp tails but it didnt stick. At about 3 I got another hit and once again it got away , around four it got red hot( at least for what we were used to) and william got a nice fish on and once again it got off. Around five using the same rig up I got the first hit on, I got a nibble, heart racing I grabbed my pole and felt to make sure she was still there and gave a solid hook set which thankfully stuck and landed me my very first sockeye. I rated this a five because it was a beautiful day which ended in a fish, also we saw a 4-5 ft sturgeon finning the surface about 150 ft from shore. to top it of I saw a massive beaver swimming right in close to shore.

Great report, congratulations on your Sockeye! Thay have been very elusive this year.
