Went to fish Wynoochee today to see if the steelie is there yet got to the river 8:00 o'clock late start for me got to hole no fisherman in sight second thought kick in no fish in the river yet so I started fishing anyway, with jig half hour later switch sand shrimp as I cast to the lower hole and my line stop set the hook a steely jump I thought I had him it was a buck reeled my line in baits gone put another bait on walk up river another steelhead jump on the other side of the bank I tried to cast above where it jump I couldn't cast that far with the weight I had on. and the rain came down like somebody dump a bucket of water on me so I pack up and head home , I only end up landing a few small trout they like stealing those shrimp from my hook
