Fished the upper Green on Veteran's Day. I went 2 for 4. My friend taught me how to float eggs. Up to this point I was only proficient with corky and yarn. I am super thankful for someone teaching me a new technique. Every single take down was right in the mouth. There was no such thing as snagging while floating the eggs. I caught one chum (same fish both pictures) and a small 4-5 pound steelhead (not pictured).

Wow I did not know that chum would take eggs. That is awesome as I still have some to use up! Nice work.

nice job! i, too, am trying to broaden my arsenal beyond corky and yarn. how deep was your terminal gear under the float? this will depend on the depth of the river where you fished, so if you don't mind could you give approx location, or do you have an estimate of how deep the water was where you fished?

I would say the water was probably 6 feet deep and my hook to bobber stop was about 5 feet.

Where were you at on the green? I went 3 days ago didnt see any thing on the Green river same with the Puyallup river. I need some fish for my smoker! Also if you know of any good lakes by Bonney Lake, Sumner,Auburn,Puyallup.... I need to find some good spots to go, Im fairly new to the area.
