Hit the Green for a couple hours this afternoon on the spur of the moment. Met up with Bent Rod at the Tukwila Community Center and threw lures for awhile. Enjoyed the fishy talk. We both had a couple bumps but no takers. Saw some nice chrome fish jumping across the way out or our range. Was certain one of us would hookup at any moment, but it didn't happen. When it was time for Bent Rod to hit the road decided to go up river a bit. Ended up meeting up with my brother and fishing at one of our favorite spots. Didn't see much happening just a few Zombies swimming around. He told me he caught a couple of smolts that he had released, but no substantial bites or bumps. Threw a #2 silver Dick Nite for about 15 minutes without result. Switched to a #3 Chartreuse Blue Fox spinner and hit a nice slightly blushed Coho buck on my third or forth cast. He put up a valiant fight complete with aerial acrobatics and crazy underwater spasmodic shakes before he tired enough to net him. Guessing he was around 6-7 lbs (guessing I should probably buy a digital scale and stop guessing). Anyway, had a great time. The best part aside from meeting up with Bent Rod and catching the fish was my brother straight cussing me out when I hooked up, because he had just moved up river from that spot!! Tight lines...
