Fished one of my favorite spots on the Green tonight after work. Patience paid off. Had been throwing various lures for about an hour (Krocodile spoons, Dick Nites and Meps spiners). Had moved twice working the holes in the area I was at. Basically was just enjoying the evening air because nothing was happening. When I decided to make a long cast into the tail out below me. As I did a slow retrieval I saw a large fish following my lure into the shallow water about 10 feet in front of me. It looked like a scene out of a fishing show. Must say I was overjoyed when he snatched my red and white Meps #3 spinner then dance across the surface right at my feet as I set the hook. He put on an epic battle. It was one of the most incredible displays I've ever seen! He came out of the water five move times before I tired him out enough to beach him. Turned out to be a beautiful chrome Coho buck with sea lice on him. I'm guessing he weighed about 8-9 lbs. Even though I only caught one fish I gave the outing a 5 because it was just that good!!!
