Hit up Costco during lunch, and decided to try a spot I usually only fish for pinks. Had about an hour or so to fish, so I quickly got down to the spot. First ten minutes was pretty slow. Didn't see any signs of fish. I finally did get a bite, just as I was about to reel in. Landed a little 13" jack. Re-baited, and drifted a couple a times before I got another vicious hit. Again, it turned out to be another jack or comparable size. Fishing was slow for the next half hour, so I spent some time messing with my phone while my line drifted. Felt my line stop moving, so I looked up to see that I had drifted into a fallen tree. Figured I was snagged up, as i felt some weight. After a few turns of the reel, the "snag" came to life, as a little hen started to death roll right out of the submerged tree. I quickly horsed it away from the tree, and brought it up stream to land. Wanted to make a few more casts, but my line was all nicked up and I was out of time. Will definitely have to make a trip out tomorrow morning.
