Fished Lacamas lake today and it was an ok day. I have fished out there four times this year so far and been blown off the lake and poured on every other time so the sunshine and light wind was a nice change. Water was very murky though and there is a very thick coating of weeds around the shoreline. I was thinking that I would probably have another bad day on the lake. I was wrong. It took a while to find the fish, they were pretty deep for this early in the year. I fished the far shore from the main boat launch and trolled a ford fender with worm tipped wedding rings at 25-30 pulls with an oz of weight. Once I found the fish I caught three trout in about 25 minutes. I caught a 10in rainbow followed almost immediately by a 13in brown and as my trolling motor battery started to die I landed a pretty fat 16in brown. I only fished for about 100 minutes and 70 minutes of that I was fishing too shallow. Normally I limit at this lake this time of year in about the same amount of time so only rated it an "ok" day
