I had an early/extended lunch today so I decided to head down to the 112th hole and throw some eggs for the first time this year with my new set up.

The river looked to be in good condition with just the right amount of flow and vis. I saw quite a few jumping but to the best of my knowledge they seemed to be bright pinks. I did see a few dark kings and some nice black backed ho's come out of the water.

The only thing I managed to catch were three piling perch and one bullhead. I couldnt keep them off enough to get it to drift by a salmonoid. I gave it a two because its great to know, that new Homewater I picked up is sensitive enough to feel a three inch bullhead from the middle of the river.

Good luck and tight lines!

At least you caught something! I dropped by this morning and ran back at lunch for a short visit with not even a bite to show for it.

What's the regulations for using bait? Someone told me I can't use eggs but I didn't see anything about it

I hate it when I jump to conclusions and make it public for every one to see. Its cool we all need a free space every now and then. No harm no foul.

I hope to see some of you out there. I cant wait for some chrome silvers instead of pinks!

Tight lines
