Another easy day chasing pinks. Just my daughter and I today floating from Lewis down to Doug bar. It's a long float but we motor through much of the Snohomish. First boat in at Lewis and we headed down to the first hole. I did some experimenting to see how many different rigs we could catch them on. Jigs/float, twitched jigs, DNs, spinners, Pixee spoons, diver and DN, casting small plugs, etc. It all worked. One thing I've noticed over the last few weeks with regard to pinks (many of you probably already new this), but nearly all our hens came on Dick Nites. I would say the we got about seven hens to each buck on them. Every other lure was pretty even. We kept some brighter fish then spent the rest of the day in the Snoho chasing after a few Coho. Saw a few rollers/jumpers and talked to a few guys that each got one, but no luck for our boat. Still a fun day. I'm headed out to the salt for the next few weeks to get after the Silvers. I think today was the last day of Pinks for me. Have fun out there everyone.
