so the fish were moving in tonite in full force in the lowell area ....so we fished jigs for about a hour with out even a bump with fish rolling all around us was starting to get a lil mad..... so i decided to pull out the old humpy specail spoon and as soon as i did that it was fish on would get a fish on about every two cast it was like that for about a hour an a half until is was getting dark and we had to get to the boat launch i have lost more fish this year than the last 6 years combined they seem to have extreme soft mouth this year the toal for the boat was 9 fish in the boat and 37 lost and there was 4 people in the boat but the strangest thing happened out there at one point all these fish were swimming about a foot under water by the boat we could see them and watch them so we dropped our jig right in front of them they would go to hit it and turn away at the last second it was like that for maybe 4 or 5 min but it was fun to see we were in the lower river to the left of the boat launch in lowell on the straight away around the corner it was alsoe nice to talk are wifes into going with us
