Today I decided to launch from Gardner and see how fishing has been up there. Im starting to get tired of catching pinks so I anchored up and plunked my coho spinners. I was looking forward to getting away from pinks to do some lounging around and wait for the mighty coho takedown. Well since pinks will hit just about anything, i had a hard time keeping them off. Around 7am I decided to take a nap, as soon as I was clearing out the middle of the boat to lay down I heard the bell that I put onto my pole ring and fly off into the water. I quickly turned around to see my rod pullsating with the tip in the water. After several jumps and a few nerve racking moments I was able to get a net under a 6-7lb silver. It is quite the task netting a hot silver by yourself. After that excitement it was slow with only a couple pinks disturbing my nap. Good luck

It sucks netting fish yourself! The other day at the skok no one was around me, I put the net in the water, the handle between by legs, and pulled the fish in lol

So Norm, how long did you fish and how many humpies did you catch?

I was out for about 4 hours. Ended up releasing 6 or 7 humpies.

Hey Norm,
I am an expert net person with no boat.
I don't weigh much and am available 24/7 just in case you need someone to net that next big one.
And nice fish, congrats.
