This is a few days worth of reports. After fridays fun hooking a bunch I had high hopes for saterday. But storms rolled in and it wasnt very good fishing. Saterday we went down to the north fork where I picked one up right off that bat and lost a couple. The two other guys I was fishing with could not buy a bite. After a little while down there and not seeing anymore fish jumping we decide to go up above Mount Vernon. Anchored up in a place we call snag city due to all the logs and stumps. Donated some gear but did manage to get one plunking a spoon and lost a couple on the jig. Sunday I was lazy so a buddy and I got some shrimp and decided to go plunk up in Burlington. All the decent spots were full of people so we were stuck on the dike with no success. Only saw one caught on the bar at the soccer fields. Well today I did not have high hopes with the river looking like chocolate milk, but I had some sandshrimp to get rid of. So I headed down to the forks and found the edge of the sandbar. Pritty slow until I threw some shrimp pritty close to shore and picked up a nice size buck. Other than that it has been sort of a bust. Saw a lot more fish coming in last weekend. When the river clears up it should be good fishing again and only get better. Good luck
