Stopped by 3 Rivers to look at a couple boats. They had a kids pond set up and BlueRock was volunteering. She is buds with my daughter so the two quickly had a line in the water. My kid takes after me, lots of hookups but took a bit to land one. Thanks Blue! Oh yeah, this report is for the Sky.. after we headed east, stopped at Alpen Drive In for some burgers and then hit the Trestle hole for a picnic, play, and wet a line. Two other guys fishing the hwy side while and a couple up and down the north side while I was there, didn't see any hook ups. I fished Float/Jig and spoons off and on between building sand castles and forts and never had a bump. We were there from 1-ish to 5-ish. The place started to fill up with evening revelers so we decided to call it a day. Hopefully I can get out for some "real" bank pounding soon - it has been awhile but it was a nice family outing all the same!
