Quick report from on the road. Fished the Skookumchuck today and caught a mess of brown trout! Well, lots of dark steelhead anyway. Couple of bright ones mixed in, and the crowds aren't bad on the week days. Lots of fish in the system right now, but you've got to weed through the darker fish to get to the chrome. We lost a big one today that could've broken the 20 mark, first thing. Now it's on the the Nooch tomorrow. If you'd like to get in on the action, I have some dates open for the boat and the bank on the Peninsula rivers.

silasd56: check out the "skook lately" thread in the river forum. lots of info.

Nate, far cry from when we were there last month, for sure. Haven't hooked any steel myself yet, but there are definitely fish around.
