1/21/2013 12:36:00 PMRainbows, Brookies, Dollies, and Cutts are all in the upper system around the town of Sky/east of Baring. Started noticing Brookies in the late 90's. I figure they came from the Alpine Lakes plants decades ago and trickled down into the Foss/Tye/Beckler/Sky. My Pops landed a German Brown just out of Sky in 90's. We were all confused about that. Been fishing/living in the zone off and on since 80's... oh, and they dump a bunch of steelies every summer twice a summer right in town under the bridge. Some of those stick around/don't go down river. They certainly are fun to C&R when caught on light gear when going for trout and late-season Alpine Whites.
