stop by the pick up some sand shrimp. The guy at the store that coho is done only chum left.............parked car by the little creek at alborlin park area. Walked on railroad track up stream. found very nice hole it was kinda impossible to walk down all the brush and it steep. so went up more found a better spot. this spot is every thing, got a nice rock for me to stand on. saw 2 fish rolling 1st minute i got thier between the fast moving water and calm water. I said to my self that i found the spot and felt very confident about getting a fish. saw lots of boats going up and down spashing me. in 3 hour fishing not too bad. caught 2 coho and banked on the edge of the rock, i get a hold of my line to grab the fish the fish swim away slap my 8lb test line. using 1/8 oz pink head jig/purple feather with sand shrimp 4-5ft under a bobber. constant action on every cast but they small bite, could be anything from trout to salmon.

The one in your right hand is a steelhead... see the smaller mouth! It also has a pinkish lateral line...

Pretty sure that is a wild Steelhead you got there and not a Coho hen.
Best be careful when you are keeping those and do some research on what you are actually catching!

i know 100% its a coho. i got the damm fishidentification book. "coho have a fork tail" if its a steelhead why is the tail not flat, cause on the book steelhead have flat tail.

nice coho yen. I think these humpy fisherman retards dont know what a steelhead is. Steelhead flat tail, not forked. it has a line running down the side, big deal, doesnt mean anything, Stick to the humpys boys

ilvcassidylake - The appearance of the fish next to one another in completely different stages of their life cycle is what is really making it difficult for others to accept that one of those fish is not a steelhead. Their is an unmistakable difference between trout and salmon and that would be the inside of their mouths. Trout are all white while salmon have some type of grey to black coloring in their mouths. The forked tail thing isn't something you want to rely on as it isn't a reliable indicator.
