Fished the Chehalis and Satsop this week because i had a few days off from guiding, had a great time fishin with my dad, we caught limits of coho, too many chums and even a few hog kings! lots of fish on eggs, especially on the satop, but we hit a lot of fish on spoons and spinners as well, chums on float and jig with shrimp that was their favorite by far. Man do those damn dogs fish HARD!! haha, we fished the chehalis in the middle of no where, and the satsop on the east fork, drift boat on the satsop and a sled on the other rivers,

Had a GREAT experience with some snaggers on the satsop also, GO to the river forum to read about it, its called "Stealing Coho From The Snaggers"

Back to searching for early winter steel!

Hey FishnFrerak, Is there any reason a Rower with limited experience could drift the satspo?
Never drifted that river before, but would love a last shot ot the silvers on the coastal river, Either that or the lower Hunp, Thanks

makscoot, the satsop is not the easiest river in the world, but not the toughest either, id put it right at about 5 out of 10 on a difficulty scale! coho are just starting there now!
