Fished about 2 hours at the skok today. Lots of chum to be had. I only had one hookup that I ended up losing to bad leader. But my guy hooked into many with bobber and eggs. He also hooked the biggest chum I have ever seen, other fishermen gathered to watch thinking it was a king. After a long battle it snapped his leader just feet away. But we all got a good look at the beast. One guy thought it would be a record chum, but I was guessing it wouldve been about 20lbs. Talked to two drift boats coming down each one claiming they found tons of coho. Wish I knew where the hos were sitting. Only chum on the purdy cutoff.

Sounds like your guy had a good fight! Chum can get big. Jethro reported catching a 25 lbs one on the Sky on 11/02.

Yeah I am not sure where they put in but they always pull out on the purdy cutoff. He was quite disappointed he broke off so close to the finish, it had almost spooled him on its first run.

TY for the report. Great story. I've hooked and lost some huge chum there. Hopefully Monday.

they put in at the 101 bridge and float down to the parking place at the guardrail hole I believe.
