Well...took the day off because it was my 35th bday yesterday and I wanted to treat myself to a full day of fishing. I wanted to hook into some steelhead so checked the water levels for the sky and it was looking golden 7500cfs at 8 feet. I knew exactly where I wanted to throw my float and jig first thing I get to the river. On my way to the river before day light it freaking pours down rain!! I get to the river and it's blown out like i've never seen before...you couldn't even get any bank access except a few spots that were already taken. The river was rising still! So I don't waste my time and head to the wallace and limited out for the day on silvers which was alot of fun. It was good to see a few guys out there that read washingtonlakes.com. It ended up being a good day off although I didn't catch any steel.

Good report Joechiro30. Must be nice when a limit of Coho only rates a "1".

tele_maniac- lol..I really wanted steelhead, caught enough coho already..was still fun though;) but the 1 refers to steelheading...I would rate it a 5 if the report was about the wallace
