Went out to the stilly to try my luck for the second time after not having any luck earlier that morning. Got to a new spot my buddy had shown me at about 2:45 pm the river was rising and brown but I managed to wade my way to a little island there was only to guys there who turned out to be really nice guys, fished with them for 15 min before I was on my first fish. Fished for another 1 1/2 with a lot of hook UPS but they kept shaking the hook. So I thought it was time to pack it up so I tried about 5 more cast before heading out on and just like that I was on the second one and this one was on good so I fought it for 10 min or so before he was on the beach and going home with me. It was a good day.

Don't waste your time with that little river right now snorider, it won't be back in fishable shape for at least a week, but more than likely will be out for 2 weeks + better target some bigger water now, Snohomish and Sky are the only ones that aren't blown yet. Sky looks good, snoho is borderline. Drove over the lower Skag this morning, its puking whole trees. Possibly fishing up high on the Skag might still produce.
