10/3/2012 4:39:00 AMYea well there defiantly in there. Its weird the spot i'm at has a huge deep hole that is holding the fish its just that there not actively biting. I would like to try and get there at low tide when the water is moving pretty good and see if that helps. I need heavier jigs too. The ones I tied up just wont cut it. I went with the brass bead and pin method and they ended up way to light.

10/3/2012 11:48:00 AMDon't know what hole you are at but they are certainly hard to work into a frenzy right now. I find that when they are really hesitant it either calls for something super big, flashy and obtrusive, like saying hey, I own this whole river, and I own you too.... OR they want something really small that is almost saying oh no, a big bad salmon, I hope it doesn't see me, I better get away...

10/3/2012 1:15:00 PMHey Jim, I just PM'd you a link to the spot. Im sure you have been there but if not go check it out. There's about 20' of ankle deep water then all the sudden it just drops straight down.

10/3/2012 1:40:00 PMGixer I have been there before, not yet this year but I have hit a couple of spots in that area. If I re-call that one and the one just upstream of it get a good amount of traffic.
