I didn't catch anything, put it as a 3 because everyone else was. I was by the soccer fields, and got there at day break. Quite a few were caught, but boy talk about combat fishin! I ended up losing half my line cause some jack wagon had a 10 ft leader and was constantly catching my line along with multiple other anglers. Salmon look on the smaller side this year I'm not sure if that's normal, this is only my 2nd year fishing for salmon... Still haven't taken anything home this year, maybe one day I will. Just not sure if I'm using wrong colors or wrong method?

i took one home and lost 3 yesterday. you are right, it was really bad with people not doing what they are supposed to. the one that really bothers me though are those who do not speak/read english as they were using oversized barbed hooks!!!!!

i am all for everyone having chance to fish, but play by the rules!

the russian drug in the biggest fish i saw all day and was using what i guessed to be a 2/0 or larger barbed hook. violates both the anti-snagging rule and also barbless hook rule. tried telling him he was illegal and he didnt care. really pisses me off!

A 2/0 hook can be compliant with the anti-snagging rule. I just checked one and it was less than 3/4" from point to shank. Just sayin' to clarify.

rjohnson, I've had good luck with 2 size #10 pink/purple corkies, pink uv yarn with glo shimp smelly jelly scent. Good luck!
