Had been reading FLYRODR's excellent reports and decided to give this lake a try. I fished from 5:30-dark in my float tube. I went to the right from the small park, fishing a 3" Pumpinseed Kalin's grub and 4" black powerworms by the docks and weeds. Most fish were coming from the middle sections of the docks. Unlike other recent trips to other lakes, I didn't get any in very shallow water. I released 12 fish by the end of the night, the biggest being an 18+" largemouth, a 17" in largemouth and a 16" smallmouth. Got about 5 more smallmouth between 12 and 15 inches. This was an amazing 'average fish' by my standards and I think I only got 3 or little ones all night. The smallmouth were very scrappy fighters and were hitting my lures really hard.

This is a small lake, so please catch and release!
