8/17/2012 8:36:00 AMLike many of the rivers the fishing at the Quilcene River is bad when the Indians have their nets out. Does anyone know where we can find out which days the Indians have their nets out so we don't drive 40 or 50 miles only to find nothing in the river? I also enjoy fishing the Quilcene.

8/17/2012 2:40:00 PMThe Indians are only allowed to use dip nets, No gill nets here. This river is the closest to where I live and so fish it at least twice a week during the season and will report on what I see every time.

8/17/2012 3:22:00 PMI was down there later in the day on the 16th and saw 3 in some logs and a chute, need some rain bad.

8/20/2012 4:28:00 PMI was in the boat in the bay on the 17th, a couple other boats but all crabbing. saw only 2 fish jump and about 2 dozen seals. next week again.
