Disregard the Benton county listing on this report. The Yakima river flows through a handfull of counties, and the website only lists it under Benton county.
Anyways, not much to report... Spent some time fishing the upper Yak. that would be the area a few miles West of Cle Elum. If you get off at exit 80, Roslyn. and go immediate rt. at the exit, there is a nice access to the river. I felt like it was high but I haven't been to this area before. We fished nymphs. Covered and explored a lot of nice water. Not a single hit. there were two other guys, and neither had any action. Water had very good clarity, and there are some sweet spots with back eddys. Will come back as the water goes down.

Right On! You got it posted! "You'll get into the fish when next you venture out!" Consider that a fortune cookie. LOL

Bo, Ya, definetly looking forward to it. My only concern is that I use manual downriggers! I usually use a 6-8lb ball at depth under 100' for Lake WA. cutthroat, but I am sure hoping that I wont be fishing 250' with a 10-12lb ball. That is a lot of work on one's arm.
