Went up to the Cascade this morning, arrived at 6, first ones there. It didn't take long until other people started shining their flashlights down the trail. We got to the spot and waited for daylight. We fished the main stem next to jordan creek. I saw a couple fish pulled down below in the early minutes of daylight, then I was fortunate enough to hit one. It was very old though, a bit beat up, so I released it. The water level is so low and the water is so clear that these fish are very spooked. The river was crowded too, people casting across the river and getting tangled with people on the other side is a bit ridiculous lol all in all a very slow day, hope we can get a rain soon to raise the water level and push some fish thru.

Oh ok! my buddy and I fished that hole and only hit one fish. Crazy how people crowd in right after a fish is caught... lol
