10/17/2011 11:29:00 AMCareful on letting the dog lick salmon. If there is any blood on the lip and he gets it in him, in about 2-4 weeks he'll get violently ill and can die if not treated with anti-biotics. Keep an eye on it and if the pooch gets sick or loses his appetite, you need to get to the vet and tell them it could be salmon poisoning. Some sort of parasite in the blood.

10/17/2011 1:15:00 PMBrett's Dad is 1000% correct. My Choc. Lab almost died do to this parasite called a Fluke. There was a big article in the paper about it and on the news Sunday morning. Nothing to screw with!!!
