Fished 112th St bridge on the Duwi today. Everything was perfect weather, rain, water, and tide except one thing was missing not a fish to be seen. It was a ghost town i fished from 7am to 9am and didnt see one single fish roll, jump, or splash. I aslo checked behind BECU, under I-5 bridge, and off the rocks at by Fort Dent and not a single fish was spotted. I finally found some fish further upstream but they were all rotten fetid pinks. I checked the WDFW and the hatchery went from 400 to 5000 fish in one week. I get the feeling the mass number of pinks didnt leave much space for the early incoming silvers so they said screw it and shot straight up to the hatchery. Hopefully the next wave will be here soon conditions are perfect right now (imo).
