10/7/2011 6:26:00 AM@Snake, I don't believe I'm flossing them, they're hitting on their own as far as I can tell. The meat started to really turn on them the last couple days, I'm no longer keeping any.

@snake: What's your proof he's flossing? Your claim is baseless and he wasn't even using a corkie. Check your hate at the gate. Sheesh! If you're ribbin' him jokingly, then I apologize that I misconstrued your intent.
@markhill: I would guess instinct. I've seen it myself. I made a short cast once with a marabou jig and it rest on the bottom in clear view. As I was making an adjustment to my reel an old pink came from out of nowhere and made a bee line toward the jig. I was thinking, "What the...!? Really?!" It nipped the lead head and did a 180, missing the hook completely. It was a humped humpie. No reason or logic, but it did what it did.
