As much as I keep telling myself I'm done messing with pinks, it's hard to resist when they're so willing.

I got to my usual spot at 0700 and started casting my usual blue fox. I had very little action, despite fish surfacing everywhere. I switched colors on my spinner and started getting bites. I lost a few nice fish and landed a couple pink hens. I left around 0900 because my catch card was full.

I came back to my spot at 1100 with a new catch card to finish out my limit. I released a ton of pinks in hopes of getting one or two silvers, but no luck. I talked with the game warden and he said he started in tukwilla and said no one was getting silvers.

When I was playing with the last pink I caught I did see something pretty neat. I was playing the fish by shore and all of a sudden a HUGE king swam up slowly to check it out. That fish was 30lbs if it was an ounce. I did see more kings in the river today than I've seen in the last week and I also saw a lot more silvers, but they just wouldn't cooperate.
